I’ve been playing drums for 44 years, and I still get the same rush sitting behind a kit that I did when I first started.

Over the years, I’ve been in multiple bands and I’ve been involved in 22 album/CD recordings, Toured all over the U.S. and Europe.

My love for music started when I was a kid playing along to The Beatles and KISS records. As I got older, bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate, Metallica, Testament, Death Angel, and Slayer completely changed the direction I wanted to go as a drummer.

I was self-taught during my first few years behind the kit and really started developing my own style while playing in my first band. Later, I studied at the South Bay School of Music Arts, where I was able to fine-tune my playing and build on everything I had learned from years of simply playing, listening, and figuring things out.

After all these years, drumming is still a huge part of who I am. Through HHWARDRUMS and streaming on Twitch, I get to keep playing the music I love, connect with other musicians and music fans, and continue pushing myself behind the kit.

I’m excited about this next chapter and taking everything I’ve learned from more than four decades of playing, recording, touring, and working with some amazing musicians and putting that experience into music of my own. I’m excited to see where the music takes me next.
